We collaborated with Loughborough University Arts Department (LUARTS) to hold a competition to give international students an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and their own culture.
Students will submit their art through Microsoft Forms and the best ones will win a £20 Love2Shop voucher. Giving out prizes can attract students to participate in the competition and motivate them to submit their work.
To make the campaign more meaningful, we posted the competition on International Students Day as a celebration campaign.
This online campaign runs throughout the academic year to provide international students a way to share their stories when they celebrate their own holidays/festivals.
This help other students to understand other cultures from first person perspective and widen their knowledge about the world. Students will send us photos and stories through Google Form and we will share and celebrate with them on social media.
Only 3 students signed up for the campaign - Should promote the campaign more by asking other organisations to share our post and provide some benefits to attract students to sign up.
When developing an idea, I should gain insights from the target audience in advance to validate the idea. For example, posting an Instagram Story Q&A and speaking to international students on campus.
